What is a DOT physical and who needs it?
This is a medical examination required for CMV drivers to ensure they are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to operate a commercial motor vehicle. This examination is mandated by the FMCSA for those who drive vehicles that weigh more than 10,000 pounds, transport hazardous materials, or carry more than 15 passengers. It is also required to renew your DOT card.

What should I expect during a sports physical?
Sometimes known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE), a sports physical makes sure you are ready to play in a physical activity. During this physical, you can expect a review of your medical history, a check of your height, weight, blood pressure, and vision, as well as an examination of your heart, lungs, and joints. We will also assess your overall fitness and discuss any health concerns related to sports participation.
